Benefits Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 2.5 lakh is provided to the couple doing inter-caste marriage. To take advantage of this scheme, a pre-stamped receipt to the married couple, Rs. 10 non-judicial stamp paper will have to be submitted. After which Rs 1.5 lakh will be sent to their account through RTGS or NEFT and the remaining Rs 1 lakh is made as a fixed deposit for 3 years. After the completion of 3 years, both the fixed deposit money and the interest earned from it will be given to the married couple.
