First Citizens Bank Acquires Navios Maritime Partners L.P. Arranged $44.2 Million In Debt Financing For

First Citizens Bank today announced that its Maritime

Finance Group, which is part of the CIT division, has acquired Navios

Maritime Partners L.P. ("Shipping Partners"). Navios

Partners will use the proceeds from the financing to refinance

existing debt, which is secured by product tankers.

“We have worked closely with Maritime Finance in the past and value their

experience in arranging the financing,” said Ari Sironi, CFO of Navios Partners.
