The main objective of starting the Bihar Student Grant Scheme is to  provide free hostel arrangements to the backward and extremely  backward-class students of Bihar so that they do not leave their  education midway due to their economic status and keep doing so.

– Applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar. – Only backward-class and extremely backward-class students are eligible to apply under this scheme. – Students must be studying at minimum 11th standard in a recognized institute.

Interested students who want to apply under Bihar Hostel Grant Scheme  have to submit their offline application. For this, first of all, the  student has to know whether the seats are vacant for the backward class  and other backward class students in the hostels of your district.
