Science communicator, author, and YouTuber Hank Green announced in a video that he has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, a blood cancer. In a YouTube video, the 43-year-old told the story of his diagnosis. "When you're in the American health care system, you don't expect things to move fast," he said, describing how he got tested. "When it starts to get a little efficient, it's actually quite redundant." He was right to be shocked: The tests came back fast and were positive for cancer. Still, Green was optimistic, explaining that the type of lymphoma she has is highly treatable and that at this point it appears it had been caught early. In what he characterized as "Very Hank Green thinking", he said that "this is the best time in human history to get lymphoma." (Youtube Star Hank Green Shares His Cancer Diagnosis) Green is a very busy creator. He has been active on YouTube since 2007 and currently hosts various podcasts along with a TikTok account. First, don't give her health care advice. and second, to give them suggestions for movies, TV shows, and video games that are "not heavy at all, kind of emotionless ... really dumb stuff that can't bring anyone to tears."
