SSC CGL Tier-I exam has 4 sections – Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.
Each section consists of 25 questions and each question carries 2 marks which makes it a total of 50 marks per section
The total time duration is 60 minutes and there is negative marking of 0.50 marks per question
Hence the total marks can be calculated as

Note :- Friends, I would like to tell for your information that SSC has decided to conduct descriptive paper instead of interview in SSC CGL for all the candidates who have qualified SSC CGL Tier 2 exam. SSC CGL Tier 3 Descriptive Paper (Pen and Paper Mode) has been introduced to test the writing skills of the candidates. SSC CGL Tier 3 is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper mode). The paper is in English/Hindi language and will be of 100 marks. Candidates have to complete the entire paper in 60 minutes.

Friends, I would like to tell for your information that SSC CGL Tier 4 exam is a computer skill test, SSC CGL Tier 4 is conducted in two phases, which we have explained below.
Skill Test in Data Entry (DEST) Test and
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) Test
STEP-1 :- DEST: Candidates have to type 2000 words in 15 minutes on computer in English. This exam is conducted to check the typing skills of a candidate. Candidates are given an article in English which they have to type on the computer. For the post of Tax Assistant (Central Excise & Income Tax), DEST exam is conducted through SSC CGL 2021 exam to check the typing speed of the candidate.
Step-1 :- CPT: This exam is conducted to check the proficiency of a candidate in word processing, creation of spreadsheets and slides by SSC as CSS, MEA, Inspector (Central Excise), Inspector (Preventive Officer). Three areas are tested for the post. Inspector (Examiner)

SSC CGL Tier 4 is qualifying in nature, no marks will be awarded in SSC CGL Tier 4
Candidates have to score well in all the levels i.e. Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3, and also qualify in Tier 4 of SSC CGL to get the desired post and position
